Senior Accountant
We are looking for a Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our Estonian finance team with various tax-related tasks and accounting. The Estonian finance team, located in Tallinn, primarily deals with tax and accounting operations for our local subsidiary company.

Experience
At least five years of experience with Estonian accounting practices and Estonia tax-related operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field.
- Professional in the English, Estonian and Russian languages.
Responsibilities
- Accounting operations, including VAT and VIES reports, Social Taxes, Statistics, and OSS/IOSS reports.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information, summarize current financial status by collecting information;
- Prepare balance sheets, profit, loss statements, and other related reports.
- Assist with billing questions regarding indirect tax or other related subjects
- Review the accountancy reports and declarations done by the accountancy department and audit process cooperation.
- Support accounting month-close process and audits
- Support the finance team with additional tasks and work on accounting projects as assigned
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
- Obtaining a VAT number for companies in the tax office and registering companies in a particular OSS and IOSS scheme.
- Submit statistical reports to Estonian bank and Statistics Estonia.
